Do not sell or share my personal information
Last updated August 17, 2026
What this page is for
Some U.S. state privacy laws give you the right to tell a company not to "sell" or "share" your personal information. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and a number of other states use those terms broadly, so they can cover the use of analytics and advertising cookies even where no money changes hands. This page explains where Patch Systems, Inc. stands and how to exercise that right.
We do not sell your personal information for money
Patch Systems does not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and never has.
We may "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Privacy Rights Act, through analytics and advertising cookies on our site. You can opt out of that below.
How to opt out
1. Email us
Send a request to hello@trypatch.com with the subject line "Do not sell or share." Include the email address you have used with us, so we can find and apply your request. We do not need any other personal information to process it.
We will apply your request and confirm by reply. We respond within the timeframe your state's law requires, generally 45 days, and usually much sooner.
2. Send a Global Privacy Control signal
If your browser or a browser extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a valid opt-out request for that browser. You do not need to contact us as well. Because the signal is stored in the browser, you would need to send it from each browser and device you use.
3. Turn off analytics cookies in your browser
Blocking analytics and advertising cookies through your browser settings stops the data collection at source. Our cookie policy sets out how to do that for the major browsers.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for written proof that you authorized the agent, and we may ask you to confirm directly that you gave that authorization.
What happens after you opt out
You will still be able to use the site in full. We will still respond to any enquiry you send us, and we will still keep the records we need in order to do that and to meet our legal obligations. Opting out stops the sharing described above. It does not delete information we already hold. To request deletion, see the rights section of our privacy policy.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.
Your other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Those rights and how to use them are set out in our privacy policy.
